I plan to enter Vietnam from China via Thanh Thuy border crossing north of Ha Giang. I will have Vietnam Visa already issued to me as an American. Will be traveling with Chinese national as my guide. Will they admit us into Vietnam at that crossing? Also, can Ha Giang permit be obtained there, or must we get permit in Ha Giang?
